この物語の主人公である青年は気が付くといつの間にか見覚えのない奇妙場所にいた。また、それどころか自分に関することを何一つ思い出すことができない。

かろうじて分かることは、もともと自分がいた世界がこのような不可思議な場所ではないということ。そして”ヨミ”という自身の名前だけだった。

The young man who is the protagonist of this story found himself in a strange place that he did not recognize before he knew it. In fact, he cannot recall a single thing about himself.
The only thing he can barely remember is that the world he was originally in was not a wonder place like this one, and his name was "Yomi".
 

ヨミが世界をさまよっている時に初めに出会ったのは奇妙な姿形の青い道化師だ、ヨミに対してわずかな助言と忠告をした後すぐに姿を消してしまった。

次に出会ったのは先ほどとは違い自身と同じような姿…人間の姿をした人物だった。その人物はヨミに居場所の提供を提案したが、ヨミが酷く混乱し、怯えていることに感づくと小さな小瓶を渡してそのまま去っていった、いつでも訪れるといいという言葉を残して。ガラスから透けて見える小瓶の中身はまるで宝石のように美しく、魅力的に感じられた。

 

最後に出会ったのは猫の耳のようなものが付いた被り物をしている子供のような背丈の人物である。名前、どこから来たのか、迷子かどうか…彼はYomiに様々な質問をした。話に流されるがままにyomiは彼についていくこととなった。

彼はヘスヴェルと名乗った、行くあてのないヨミに対して元の世界に帰る方法が見つかるまで店の一角を貸し出してくれるという。

店には様々な人物が訪れる、その大半がとてもではないがまともとはいえない。しかし、この不可思議な世界でさまよい続けるよりはここに居たほうがよっぽど安全だろう。

ヨミは彼の店の手伝いをしながら、自身のこと、そして元の世界に帰る方法の手掛かりを探すこととなった。

When Yomi was wandering the world, she first met a strange-looking blue clown who gave her a few words of advice and counsel and then quickly disappeared.

The next person she encountered was a humanoid figure, but with a somewhat alien air about him. The person tried to offer Yomi a place to stay, but when he sensed that Yomi was extremely confused and frightened, he gave her a small vial and left, saying that she could visit him anytime. The contents of the vial, peeking through the glass, were as beautiful and alluring as if they were jewels.

The last person I encountered was a child-like short figure wearing a headdress with what looked like cat ears. He asked Yomi all sorts of questions: his name, where he came from, whether he was lost...he asked Yomi a lot of questions. The conversation flowed on its own, and as a result, Yomi ended up following him.

He told her his name was "Hosvir(hesuveru)" and that he would rent out a corner of his store to Yomi, who had nowhere else to go, until she could find a way to return to her own world.

The store is visited by all sorts of people, most of them not very sane. But it would be safer to stay here than to continue wandering in this mysterious world.

Thus, Yomi helped him with his store and searched for clues about himself and how to change back to the original world.
